TV questions Q1: What TV genres exist? Definitions and Example TV Drama- Shows that play on the emotions and feelings of the audience. Usually more realistic. E.g. EastEnders Sitcom- Shows that are more humorous. Sometimes filmed in front of a live studio audience. E.g. The Big Bang Theory. Documentary- To show and educate an audience. Usually narrated. E.g. Blue Planet Sci-fi- Shows set with futuristic settings around time and/or space. E.g Doctor Who Reality TV- Programmes that show real-life drama and conflict in a filmed environment.
